RYAN McMAHON (GOALKEEPER) ~ Ryan made a solitary appearance for Skem back on Saturday 5th February 2005 in a 2-1 victory at Newcastle Town deputising for the injured Robbie Holcroft, but signs this season from neighbours Prescot Cables where he had the reputation of being the best keeper in the Unibond League.

SEAN FOSTER (DEFENDER) ~ Signed from Burscough last season.  Previously at Southport where he came through the PASE SCHEME.

TOM HARDWICK (LEFT BACK) ~ Signed in 2006 from Clitheroe. 6ft 2ins and still only 19 years of age…a great signing for Skem.

MICHAEL DUFFY (DEFENDER) ~ Played on loan at Chorley last season, but officially signs from Vauxhall Motors.  A versatile player with vast experience who can play at right back or as centre half.

MICHAEL WHITE (CENTRE HALF) ~ 24-year old who made his way through the Burscough Youth Academy to Reserves before making his Unibond debut as a substitute at Emley in 2002.

STEVEN AKRIGG (CENTRE HALF) ~ Signed from Warrington Town in January 2007 having played over 40 Unibond League games, and at only 20-years of age looks like a great prospect for the club.

SEAN McCONVILLE (MIDFIELDER) ~ A product of the Burscough Youth Academy who was eventually signed on Unibond forms by Liam Watson after impressing in the Reserves.

ADAM BIRCHALL (MIDFIELDER) ~ Former Crewe Trainee.  Tommy Lawson’s first signing as Skem Manager at the beginning of the 2006/07 season.  Played at Clitheroe, Runcorn & Formby last season.  A highly talented player and a real crowd pleaser…industrious and full of flair.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS (MIDFIELDER) ~ A regular in the Marine first team until losing his place through a shoulder injury.  Spent a season making a return at Ashville, until signing for Skem in August 2005.  A strong holding midfielder with an eye for the goal and fast becoming a United favourite.

MICHAEL GROGAN (MIDFIELDER) ~ This highly rated midfielder was signed from local football last season and has impressed the Manager.

PHIL HOLLAND (MIDFIELDER) ~ Signed from Ashton Town in 2006 but was sidelined for most of last season through injury.  Has impressed during the pre-season build-up.

CRAIG NOONE (MIDFIELDER) ~ A product of United’s successful Youth team/Reserves in 2005/06.  Craig has worked his way through the ranks, and soon caught the eye of the Manager.  He’s a busy, industrious player and a wizard on the wing, and compliments that with great crossing ability.  Went on trial to Royal Antwerp last season and is bound to attract more attention this season.  Without doubt the most gifted player to have worn a Skem shirt since Steve Heighway.

AARON TURNER (MIDFIELDER) ~ Summer signing from Ashton Town in 2006, where he won the NWC Division Two Player of the Year Award in his last season.  Injured since Tuesday August the 8th, but made a comeback against his old club …in the 1st Round of the Liverpool Senior Cup, scoring a hat trick along the way and has been ever present since!

JOHN CASS (MIDFIELDER/FORWARD) ~ John, a product of Skem’s successful Youth Team, is a talented footballer, but has thus far taken a back seat in the Reserves, yet this could be his chance to shine in the first team.  Was also on Everton’s books as a young lad. John was invited to trials at Manchester United the season before last.

TONY EVANS (FORWARD) ~ Joined us from Marine in January 2007.  Tommy’s leading scorer when he was at Clitheroe.  6ft plus with experience at Conference level with Southport having qualified through their very successful PASE SCHEME.  Other clubs include Clitheroe, Prescot Cable & Radcliffe Borough.

GEORGIE DONNELLY (CENTRE FORWARD) ~ A product of United’s Youth set-up who eventually caught the eye of the Manager whilst playing in the Reserves last season.  Signed for Runcorn Town at the tail end of last season where he scored 8 goals in 12 games.  Returns to Skem and has been signed on a contract.

DAVID EATON (CENTRE FORWARD) ~ Began his career at Everton becoming a regular in the reserves playing strike partner alongside Wayne Rooney, but failed to make the breakthrough at Goodison Park and moved to Macclesfield Town in October 2002.   Scored five goals in twenty appearances, 12 of which he started from the bench.  Went on to play for Witton Albion and Stafford Rangers before becoming a regular at Burscough from where he has signed.

TOMMY LAWSON (MANAGER) ~ Tommy (Pictured) took over the reigns in June 2006, and is a vastly experienced manager.  Tommy Lawson has a great pedigree at Unibond level, having taken Prescot Cables up from the North West Counties as Champions at the end of the 2002-03 season, into the Unibond First Division where he gained automatic promotion to the Unibond Premier Division.  In his final season, Prescot were play-off candidates for a place in the Conference North.  Has also managed at Clitheroe, Congleton, Stantondale, Warrington Town and a brief spell at Skelmersdale back in 1992.

PAUL McNALLY (ASSISTANT PLAYER/MANAGER) ~ Winning back to back championships at Marine early on in his career, he then went on to play for Runcorn in 1997-98, notching up 20 goals in his first season.  Hs also played at Clitheroe, Oswestry, Southport, Stalybridge Celtic & Warrington Town. McNally is good in the air, and totally committed to the cause.  Originally a midfielder, Macca a 6ft 3ins veteran now operates as a defender, although he continues to return a very healthy goal rate.

BRIAN RICHARDSON (ASSISTANT MANAGER) ~ Brian managed North West Counties team Ashton Town for five years, and therefore brings a wealth of knowledge with him.

Nicola Pye (CLUB PHYSIOTHERAPIST) ~ Bsc (Hons) MCSP.  In her third term at the club.
